How to improve the reuse rate of recycled tie rod system components?

Most components of the tie rod system,including tie rod bodies,wing nuts,washers and positioning cones,are reusable temporary construction accessories,and scientific maintenance and management can greatly reduce project material costs.The damage of recycled tie rod system components mainly comes from concrete bonding,thread wear,rod body bending and surface rust.Therefore,standardized post-construction treatment is the core to improve the reuse rate.After the completion of concrete curing and formwork removal,the tie rod system shall be disassembled in a standardized manner first.It is forbidden to knock and pry the tie rod violently,which will cause thread deformation and rod body bending and lead to scrapping.After disassembly,the concrete mortar adhered to the rod body,threads and nut gaps shall be completely removed with a steel brush and high-pressure water gun.Residual mortar will block the threads,affect the locking effect of subsequent use,and even cause slipping failure.For tie rods with slight surface rust,manual rust removal and anti-rust grease coating treatment shall be carried out to isolate air and moisture and prevent secondary rusting.Deformed and bent tie rods need to be inspected and corrected slightly;severely bent,cracked and thread-worn components shall be screened and scrapped to avoid potential safety hazards in reuse.All recycled components shall be classified and stored:tie rods of different lengths and diameters are stacked separately,nuts and gaskets are stored in dry and ventilated warehouses in categories,and plastic accessories are prevented from sunlight aging and extrusion deformation.Before the next construction use,secondary inspection shall be carried out to confirm that the thread is smooth,the rod body is intact and the locking function is normal.In international construction rental business,high-reuse-rate tie rod system components have higher market competitiveness.Standardized maintenance can make the service life of tie rod systems reach dozens of turnover cycles,forming a low-cost and high-efficiency material circulation mode.Construction enterprises should establish a complete set of tie rod component management system,record turnover times and maintenance status,and realize refined management of reusable construction materials.
