What key points should be noticed during dismantling operation of scaffolding system?

Dismantling is high‑risk operation stage of scaffolding system,improper dismantling sequence easily causes partial or whole frame collapse.Dismantling work must be organized and directed by professional technical personnel.Before starting,site technical disclosure shall be carried out for operators,clarify dismantling sequence and risk points.Scaffolding dismantling shall follow top‑down principle.Dismantle components from upper layer downwards step‑by‑step,cannot implement bottom‑up reverse operation.Working platform planks shall be cleaned first,remove all stacked materials and sundries.Then dismantle guardrails,toe boards,planks,ledgers,standards in turn.Bracing and wall‑tie connection parts cannot be removed in advance.They can only be detached after surrounding related tube components are dismantled.Early removal of wall‑tie and bracing will seriously reduce frame stability and bring collapse risk.Dismantled components shall be transferred down safely.It is strictly forbidden to throw steel tubes and couplers down from high altitude.Components can be delivered by rope hoisting or passed down by workers layer‑by‑layer.On‑site warning area shall be set below dismantling zone,forbid irrelevant personnel entering working range.In bad weather such as strong wind,rain and snow,stop scaffolding dismantling work.During dismantling process,disassembled parts shall be transported away timely,avoid piling on scaffold platform.After dismantling,components shall be preliminarily sorted and inspected,defective pieces are screened out.Record dismantling condition in construction safety file.Many scaffolding accidents happen in dismantling phase.Strictly complying with dismantling process specification can effectively prevent collapse and object‑striking accidents.
